About the house

Our holiday home has a light and modern interior, inspired by Scandinavian design and carefully selected vintage pieces. The interior for Delvers Duinhuis has been designed by owner Linda herself, via her interior design studio ‘LGR projects’. For more information please visit the website or instagram page.

Below you will find some explanation of the rooms and available amenities.

INSIDE | living room

The living room has a three seater sofa and two large armchairs, television with DVD-player and Google Chromecast. For music there is also a speaker available to connect to your device. The dining area has a large dining table by Piet Hein Eek that seats up to six persons.

Delvers Duinhuis is a child-friendly house and therefore very suitable for families with children. There are wicker baskets with toys (duplo, wooden blocks and Schleich animals), there is a stair gates upstairs, 2 TrippTrapp highchairs and 2 cots with mattresses. There is also a wood fire from Barbas. With this lockable wood fire, the fire is completely sealed off from the living room, but the heat remains in the house.

INSIDE | kitchen

Adjacent to the living room you will find the fully equipped kitchen with Nespresso and filter coffee maker, kettle, combi microwave, large fridge with freezer and all other kitchen supplies.

INSIDE | bedrooms

The staircase in the living room leads to the first floor where there are three bright bedrooms with comfortable beds. Two bedrooms each have two beds of 80 x 210 cm and the third bedroom has two beds of 80 x 200 cm. The generous beds are made with fine ByMølle linen bedlinnen. Every bedroom has an insect screen on the outside of the windows that can be opened. The blackout curtains make an afternoon nap perfectly possible.

INSIDE | bathroom

You can also relax in your own Finnish sauna in the bathroom. The bathroom with underfloor heating also has a rain shower and a sink with large mirror. Fresh bath linens are available for you to use. There is a separate toilet in the hallway.

OUTSIDE | terraces

Delvers Duinhuis also has a wonderful outdoor area with a south-facing terrace and a smaller terrace, with a sandpit for the little ones, on the southeast. This terrace can be closed by means of a tensioned net, so that the little explorers do not run away. The surrounding ditch is protected with a sheep fence. There is a large wooden garden table with garden furniture from Fermob.

OUTSIDE | explore

To explore the beautiful surroundings of Egmond and Bergen we recommend you to either walk or cycle. Via our partner for bike rental you can easily rent your bikes; they will ensure your bikes will be delivered on the door step, or in our case; behind the house where we have a special bicycle storage. Delvers Duinhuis also has a bicycle pump, a tire repair kit and a toolbox available. Plus in the scullery we have a washing machine and a dryer. Because, you never know it might be useful..

Within walking distance you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, fishmonger, cheese shop and liquor store. You can easily walk there with our wooden beach wagon.
